CRS (1998/9):

Funded training of community members and health workers for the primary health care program of SSUHA in Kajo-Keji. It also supported the construction of SSUHA’s Community Health Workers training school which later was used for training M/CHWs from various parts of the then war-stricken part of Sudan. NGOs implementing health programs in the war affected parts of the country sponsored health workers, mainly Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Mother and Child Health Workers (MCHWs) to the school. UNICEF also sponsored students to the school on behalf of the counties.
